Drop Shadows

EazyDraw provides two methods (bitmap or vector) for creating professional shadowing effects with just the click of a checkbox. The Vector methods are drawn by EazyDraw with vector technology to provide truly scalable shadows. Bitmap shadows are used for soft shadows. Vector shadows accept perspective transformations of tilt and skew. Vector shadows easily project sharp images of the host graphic.

Soft shadows are provided using core macOS graphics capability. This is the technology that Apple uses in the Finder. So you can create the same shadowing effects that you see on your Mac's desktop.

Drop Shadow

Crisp edge (100%) or fuzzy edge, get the effect you want. Pick a color, transparency, bloom, blur radius - all the control you need to generate photo-realistic shadows.

Distortion With Affine Transform

Use the Free transform matrix distort and shape the shadow. Use this to stimulate height and depth perception. Apply shear and skew to the shadow independently from the shear and skew of the graphic.

Export to Vector or Bitmap Images

Capture the soft shadow look in exported bitmap images. Or confidently export to a pre=press workflow with the precisely drawn vector shadows.
